What is this crazy talk? we run a photo studio, are we going mad by telling you that you don't need our services? - "No".

I want you to choose something you've recently desired, it could be a new job, an experience, a realisation of a dream, a change etc...
Now ask "What would that give me that I wouldn't otherwise have?" I'm guessing a new job would give you more money, more money would give you more freedom, security, peace or even love.

It's the same with having a photo shoot, the shoot itself is not going to give you the feelings you want. However, a photo shoot could be an integral part to your journey to success.

For a business person a great picture on LinkedIn is an opportunity to get a new job, which will lead to more money. For an actor it could be the opportunity of being promoted on the best agency.
For a model being published in magazines will ultimately give you the feeling of achievement, financial reward and success.

I've met many musicians over the years, we've photographed a lot too. When it comes to having a musicians photoshoot it s important to understand that your image is what people will judge you on prior to listening to your music. Make sure you get some really good publicity shots to compliment your music. I've listed a few tips to help you get the most out of your CD covers and website PR below:

1. Really think about your outfits, if you're not in a position to hire a a stylist then just use your imagination. Famous artists use their image and clothing as symbols that best represent them, they are effectively creating a brand and expect their fans to copy. For example, Michael Jackson's one handed glove, Kanye West's Strippy Shades, Madonna and Gaga's outfits, all of which are fashion statements that seperate these people from the crowd. Be bold, compliment your music and create looks that people will remember, do not turn up to a photoshoot in outfits you would go to Tesco's in!

2. Think about the graphics. Graphic design and music also compliment each other. Think about all the iconic logos, Mick Jagger's lips to Take That's double T's, create something memorable, something that will look awesome on a t-shirt 30 years from now!

3. Pre-plan what your website and CD cover will look like. Planning ahead gives you a goal and a focus, planning makes your photoshoot more enjoyable and the results will be electrifing!
